I’ve played tennis for as long as I can remember. To me, it has always been much more than a sport. It’s where I learned resilience, discipline, and patience. It taught me how to deal with pressure, embrace uncertainty, and keep going even when things didn’t go my way. Tennis has a unique way of showing you that your toughest opponent is often not the person standing across the net, but the voice inside your own head.

For years, tennis shaped my world and became a huge part of who I am today.

When I started university, I stopped competing. But I never wanted to lose my connection to the sport that had given me so much. That’s what led me to study Sports Journalism—a way to stay close to the world I loved while exploring a new path.

As the years passed, fashion, content creation, and storytelling gradually became part of my life and eventually my career. I was grateful for every opportunity, but I also experienced something many people go through: uncertainty. After graduating, I found myself questioning what I truly wanted to build, what excited me, and where I was meant to go next.

Eighties was born in the middle of that journey.

What started as a simple idea soon became something much bigger. It was my way of creating rather than waiting, of following curiosity instead of searching for certainty. And somewhere along the way, I realized that all the things I loved were connected: tennis, fashion, creativity, communication, travel, and the incredible experiences this sport had brought into my life.

Today, I’m fortunate enough to travel to some of the most iconic tournaments in the world and remain connected to tennis in ways I could never have imagined as a young girl. For the first time, it feels like all the pieces have come together.

Eighties is the result of that journey.
